It’s the first show of a New Year so Gus continues an annual tradition of providing Scriptural New Year’s Resolutions from the New Testament for listeners who call in and get on the air.
Later, Catholic author Christine Flynn calls in to join Gus in the Conversion Corner, which she wrote about in her new book, “Not Just Spiritual: My Journey from Personal Religion to the Catholic Faith” available from Catholic Answers Press. She shares with Gus and the listeners her journey from being “spiritual, but not religious” to a baptized and confirmed Catholic.
And Bob Dunning joins us in his normal spot and talks with Gus about the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal games and how the bracket structure can be improved going forward. They also talk about the Sugar Bowl, which was postponed following the New Orleans terrorist attack on New Year’s Eve that killed 15 people and injured dozens, and features Georgia vs. Notre Dame. Bob gives his prediction.
