Award-winning author of historical fantasy and fiction Walt Mussell calls in to talk about Blessed Takayam Ukon, a Japanese martyr and samurai, who lived during the anti-Catholic Sengoku period and whose feast is celebrated today. When he abandoned his samurai status, he was exiled to the Philippines. Walt tells Gus the blessed's story and his cause for sainthood.
Later, Gus continues honoring Catholic Schools Week and talks with listeners more about their experiences and expands the discussion by inviting those who send their children to Catholic schools and those who are a part of multi-generations who've attended Catholic school.

    Hi Gus
You are great to listen to… Appreciatethe you!
Wondering if I can find a write up of St Blase/Blaise talk you gave today on your show today 2/3/2022.
Didn’t see description of him on your website today 2/3/2022.
I would like to read it to my prayer group?
    Thank you
