Yesterday, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in U.S. vs. Skrmetti, which banned transgender surgeries on children in the state of Tennessee. Transgenderism is a real hot button issue these days and one that was soundly rejected in last month’s presidential election. Civil rights attorney and Conscience Project Director Andrea Picciotti-Bayer calls in to go over the case in detail and tells listeners what they need to know. Afterwards, Gus invites listeners to call in and give their opinions on the transgenderism issue and asks them the old, familiar question, “What would Jesus do?”
Later, Gus is joined by FOX News’ “Outnumbered” co-host Emily Compagno to talk about her new book, “Under His Wings: How Faith on the Front Lines Has Protected American Troops.” Emily talks about what inspired her to write the book and goes over a few of the many stories she featured within its pages.
And Bob Dunning calls in for his weekly appearance. After he tells Gus a funny story about working with the late NBC political commentator Ed Schultz, they go over the latest College Football Playoff bracket and pick the winners of this weekend’s conference championship games.
