Today is the Feast of St. Clare of Assisi. In her honor, Gus talks with a Poor Clare nun, Sister Ann of the Monastery of St. Clare in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. They are a cloistered order, which means they have little-to-no contact with the outside world. She tells Gus and the listeners the story of St. Clare, the history and legacy of the order and what it's like to live cloistered.
And later, in honor of the Feast of St. Clare, Gus invites listeners to call in and talk about nun in their lives who've made an impact.
