Gus recounts a parish mission he took part in this past Lent where he met a man named Bill. Bill is retired and told Gus that, after a short honeymoon period, got restless and began making crucifixes. He was a lifelong woodworker, so it came naturally. He did so well with it, he and his wife started a business. Gus invites listeners who found a second act in retirement to call in and talk about it.

Also, there's a parish survey being issued to every Catholic parish in the world, the results of which will be used in the 2023 Synod on Synodality. Gus talks about polls and surveys and admits he hasn't participated in many throughout his life. He asks listeners who've been involved in a survey or a poll and talk about what it was all about.

On April 28th you had spoken about a man who made crucifixes in Covington GA. I was wondering if he sold them to the public. I am giving my Grandparents crucifix to my niece and her husband and we were looking for a new one for us. I have looked online but cannot seem to find him.

    Thanks for your help!
