Gus is joined by George Stephan, his Christian guide for their Holy Land pilgrimages, live from Jerusalem who provides a firsthand description of Hamas' surprise attack on Israel. As of now, 800 are reported dead. He talks about where he was when the attack began and what he witnessed. He also talked about Israel's resolve to end this war and how leaving is not an option, even though many of his American friends have offered him and his family refuge.
Later, Gus talks about the lives and legacies of two saints whose feasts we celebrate today on the liturgical calendar, St. Denis & Companions and St. John Henry Newman.
And it's Monday so that means Gus does a couple rounds of Tell Me Something Good with listeners.
St. Denis & Companies and St. John Henry Newman, pray for us!
