Now that the Amazon Synod is over, Gus gives a redux of some of the events that took place over the three-plus weeks it took place. He reads a critical recap authored by Catholic News Agency Editor J.D. Flynn, which points out some of hazy, ambiguous tone of the Synod. Afterwards, Gus posits his theories on where the Church is at the moment and gets listener opinion.

I wanted to say a huge thank you from the St. Francis by the Sea CHRP 2 team. I didn’t want to take up too much time on Friday when you took my call for prayer time, but I wanted to tell you that Seize the Day played a part in my return home to the Catholic Church-specifically that joyful “Good morning, child of God!” intro.
