Today is the Feast of St. Charles Borromeo, cardinal archbishop of Milan, Italy from 1564 to 1584, which was the peak of the Protestant Reformation. St. Charles, along with many others, led the counter-Reformation and is considered one of the greatest educators in the history of the Catholic Church. In fact, today, many seminaries throughout the world are named after him. Inspired by his example, Gus asks listeners who are catechists, whose patron is St. Charles Borromeo, to call in and share their experiences.

Also, Gus does a little Tell Me Something Good with listeners and gives away copies of his new booklet, "A Minute in the Church: Back to the Basics."

And, Gus talks about his experience this weekend praying the Rosary outside a local abortion clinic. Sunday, November 3rd marked the end of this year's 40 Days for Life.

St. Charles Borromeo, pray for us.
