Today is the Feast of Pope St. Leo I, aka Pope Leo the Great. He lived in the 5th century and is considered one of the last of the Church Fathers. Gus talks a little about his life and legacy and then reads and reflects on some of his writings.

Later, Gus is joined by Catholic podcast host, writer and speaker Greg Willits. He and his wife, Jennifer, host a show that’s available on-demand on the SiriusXM app called the Rosary Army Podcast. Today, he talks with Gus about his forthcoming Sophia Institute Press book, “God Doesn’t Hate Me After All: Discovering Louis de Montfort’s Love of Eternal Wisdom.” Greg shares his battle with depression and mental illness with Gus and how praying the Rosary, intermittent fasting and going to daily mass helped him manage it, which served as the inspiration for this book.

Also, Gus engages in some Tell Me Something Good with listeners.

Pope St. Leo the Great, pray for us!
