Gus is joined by Dr. Christopher Pichon, supreme knight of the Knights of Peter Claver, the oldest black Catholic lay ministry. He shares their ministry and their outreach and talks a little about the importance of Juneteenth. He and Gus talk about race relations in America and the strives we've made and the struggles we still need to overcome, even within our Church.
Also, yesterday was Father's Day and his daughter Carly and her husband came over. They gave him a couple of gifts and one of them was cologne, which he does not wear and never has. Gus asked them if it was OK if he regifted it, to which they said OK. Gus asks listeners to call in and share if they think that was a good gift or not.
And it's Monday so Gus does a couple rounds of Tell Me Something Good with listeners.
