For several years now, Gus has been honoring grandparents on the show on the Feast of Sts. Joachim and Anne. Interestingly, last year, Pope Francis made the feast day a celebration of grandparents and the elderly within the Catholic Church. Gus invites listeners to call in and talk about their grandparents/grandkids.
Also, Gus talks about how, over the weekend, he and his bride Michelle took their grandsons bowling and how the two met years ago at a bowling alley in Ohio. He invites listeners to call in ad talk about how they met their spouses.
