Gus talks about today's Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, which commemorates the Blessed Virgin Mary's appearance to Carmelite monk St. Simon Stock in the 13th century where she presented him with the Brown Scapular. A scapular is a woven piece of fabric, shaped like a necklace, that people wear under their garments and those who devotedly wear the brown scapular are promised they will not die in a state of mortal sin. Gus asks listeners to call in who wear a brown scapular and any other outward symbol of their faith.

And we engage in a little Monday morning Tell Me Something Good.
