Yesterday was the observed Feast of the Epiphany in the Latin Rite Church and the Gospel reading at mass, from Matthew, describes the visitation of the Magi to the Baby Jesus who, following their encounter, were given instructions to leave Bethlehem by another route and to not let King Herod know about the Christ child. Gus asks listeners if they've ever had a religious dream, particularly one where they were given instructions by Jesus or someone else.

Also, Gus talks about an abortion bill being proposed in the state of Massachusetts that would remove parental consent requirements for minors who wish to have abortions. Gus talks about the crazy dichotomy in society where a school nurse isn't allowed by law in many places to give an Aspirin to a child with a headache but Massachusetts wants to allow a surgical procedure on children without parental consent.
