We have noticed this also in Faith Formation Classes/ student, Youth Group, and Adult Faith Formation. Our student Religious Education classes are still at a decent attendants. But Youth Group has dropped to O. Adult Faith Formation has been a small group of Elderly. Everyone would benefit from Faith Formation at all ages, a commit of one evening a week would be a great start. Remember if you don’t use it you will loose it. I feel that Lucifer is trying his best to win his argument with God. He said he could close down the churches and make people so busy they will no longer think of God. This may not be the exact words but you get the message. So what do we do? What can we do? What will we do? We have a tough battle on our hands and it is only by our own Faith and Prayers can we find the answers. We need more people willing to help with the solution. At council meetings we address this with no solutions as well at Faith Formation meetings. Any and All Ideas are Welcomed. Our Adult Faith Formation Classes we have had Mary Queen of Heaven, what a wonderful topic. Very informative this touch on subjects we never thought about. Everyone was inspired and could not wait to continue with more sessions. There are answers we just need to come together to find them..

    Thank You!!

I think attendance in all Christian denominations is decreasing related to the moral shift in society. I also believe families are busier with work, school and other obligations that they are choosing to cut church so that they can rest rather than cutting other activities. Again this circles back to the moral shift that is happening in our society.
