Rhonda Gruenwald of Vocation Ministry calls in to talk with Gus about their first "Deacon Sunday," which is this Sunday. Its purpose is to raise awareness and affirmation to the permanent diaconate and foster vocations.
Also, Gus reflects more on his recent Holy Land Pilgrimage and some of the stops they made, including Caesarea Philippi where St. Peter responded that Jesus was the Son of the Living God when Jesus asked the apostles who am I? He also talks about seeing the Via Dolorosa, aka the Way of the Cross, where Jesus carried his cross to Golgotha where he was crucified. Afterwards, Gus gives Holy Land Rosaries away to a few listeners who call in.
And, in honor of today's Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, Gus prays an Intentional Rosary with listeners for Prayer Time.
