Fr. Lawrence Lew calls in to talk about his new book from Ignatius Press called "Mysteries Made Visible: Praying the Rosary with Sacred Art." He also shares his vocation story with Gus and the listeners.
Also, Gus does Prayer Time with listeners and reads and reflects on some of the writings of St. Igantius of Antioch in today's Friday w/the Fathers.
And Gus goes over a news story out of England where a Catholic mother of five was arrested by local police as she was cooking dinner. Caroline Farrow was thrown in a jail for three hours and then questioned for two more over a long running argument she's had with others over social media regarding transgender issues.

May I suggest someone else that prays the Holy Rosary based on ideas first started by St. Dominic? Dr. Mike Scherschligt and Dr. Troy Hinkel, run the Holy School of Faith in Overland Park, Kansas. Mike provides a wonderful daily Rosary based on the Bible and the Catechism. He has been working hard to build Rosary prayer teams. Currently, 38,000 people subscribe to his daily Rosay which extends to many countries in the world. His goal is to reach 50,000 people by Christmas.

    S. Peter Resta,

The quote is from St. Ignatius of Antioch’s Letter to the Ephesians.
“Do not err, my brethren: the corrupters of families will not inherit the Kingdom of God. And if they who do these things according to the flesh suffer death, how much more if a man corrupt by evil teaching the faith of God, for the sake of which Jesus Christ was crucified? A man become so foul will depart into unquenchable fire; and so also will anyone who listens to him.”
