Gus talks about the Jesus Shoes. They're a pair of about a dozen Nike sneakers, specially designed by a company out of Brooklyn, that features holy water, from the Jordan River, injected into the soles of the shoes. Gus asks listeners whether or not something like this is OK or blasphemous.

Also, Gus provides an update on the ongoing case between the Little Sisters of the Poor and the HHS Mandate. Even though the Supreme Court ruled that the Little Sisters did not have to provide contraception and abortifacient drugs, which violated their beliefs, to their employees, the states of Pennsylvania and California are still trying to make them comply with the original mandate. The religious order has petitioned the Supreme Court to affirm their ruling to the states. Gus sounds off on the states and individuals who incredulous to the ruling and just seem to want to stick it to faith-based organizations like the Little Sisters of the Poor.

And, it's Friday so that means Gus engages in some Prayer Time with listeners. Afterwards, Gus talks about Time Wasters, or things we do that serve no purpose other than to pass the time. For Gus, it's a crossword puzzle game he plays in his iPhone. Gus invites listeners to call in and share their time wasters.
