In today's edition of Friday with the Fathers, Gus reads from St. Ignatius of Antioch's Letter to the Philadelphians. Afterwards, he talks about how often he hears that the writings of the early Church fathers inspired many a conversion, especially from former Protestants. Gus was born and raised Catholic but, like so many, fell away from the faith for a period of time. He talks about how his wife's reversion brought him back. He invites listeners to call in and share what brought them to the Catholic faith.
Later, Gus does his Friday Prayer Time with listeners and also talks with them talks about the current state of the presidential election and how they're feeling about it.
