Gus is joined by his longtime producer, Scott Shea, aka Scooterman, to chat about his book debut, "All the Leaves Are Brown: How the Mamas & the Papas Came Together and Broke Apart." The book tells the story of the legendary 1960s folk-rock group the Mamas & the Papas and all the hits, relationships and controversies that made up their crazy time together. Scooter also talks about what a polarizing figure John Phillips became and why he felt compelled to write their story.
Also, it's the last Friday of the month so Gus prays an Intentional Rosary during this morning's Prayer Time.
