Gus talks about carbonated soft drinks and the generic names to which people in certain regions refer to them. There's "Pop," "Coke" and "Soda." There's a big debate about what the proper name is across the country so Gus invites listeners to call in and talk about what they refer to it as and why.

Also, J.D. Vance, author of the best-selling autobiography "The Hillbilly Elegy" and Ohio Senate candidate calls in to share his conversion story with Gus.

And, it's Friday so that means Prayer Time and Friday w/the Fathers. In today's edition of the latter, Gus reads and reflects on Novatian's "Treatise on the Trinity." Gus explains that Novatian lived in the third century A.D. and was an antipope. This particular treatise was written before he fell into schism.
