Later, Dr. Grazie Pozo Christie, policy adviser for the Catholic Association, calls in to talk about the plight of Alfie Evans. The family of the British toddler is seeking refuge for their sick son with Pope Francis and the Catholic Church. Dr. Christie argues that Catholic medical ethics developed around end of life issues allow for compassionate accompaniment of the sick and their families much more-so than state run medical systems like they have in the U.K.
