In today's Gospel reading from John 4, we read about the second sign that Jesus performed in Galilee. Do you know what that was? Read it and find out!
In the first reading from Isaiah 65, we read about our future (if we remain faithful). "There shall always be rejoicing and happiness in what I create...No longer shall the sound of weeping be heard there, or the sound of crying."
It's always good to remember that as Christians, we know the end of the story. And today the LORD, through Isaiah, tells us the end of the story. Though we suffer now, our eternal future looks really bright. Let us always cling to this hope for our bright future.
Father, we await with joy the new heavens and new earth. May we always remain faithful that we may participate in this bright future. Amen.
