Gus talks about Donald Trump’s comments yesterday at an MSNBC Town Hall on abortion in which he changed his position three times in three hours. In his initial comment, Trump told Chris Matthews that he believed women who have abortions should be punished, which was immediately excoriated by Democrats and Republicans alike. Even Jeannie Mancini, president of the March for Life, said that that’s not the position of the the pro-life movement. Gus said he was totally against Trump’s first position and asks for listener reaction and the phones light up for the remainder of the show. Most people agreed with Gus but some took exception and agreed with Trump and challenged Gus and others who think the abortionist should be punished instead of the woman who’s having it.
