There is a constant battle of good versus evil. It happens in the world - we see it every day - and in our own lives. St. Paul wrote about this in his Letter to the Romans.
"For I do not do the good I want, but I do the evil I do not want. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. So, then, I discover the principle that when I want to do right, evil is at hand."
I suspect this is a struggle that you deal with regularly. I know I do. Evil is at hand. The devil is always working. But he doesn't always win. And in the end, good will win out. Because good is from God. We keep the devil at bay by consciously turning our thoughts and hearts to God. Let's do that more today.
Father, you know how often we do the evil we don't want. Help us to will the good today; to turn to you through Christ our Lord. Amen.

AMEN Gus!
Without Him, I can do nothing, but with Him, all things are possible – even for me!
God bless!
