Last night, the first presidential election of the 2020 presidential race took place at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. It was a very socially-distant affair with only 75 people in attendance. It was also a very heated debate, with plenty of shouting and name-calling. Gus gives his impressions of the debate, states that since it was so nasty that there probably won't even be a second and asks listeners to give their thoughts. Many were dismayed by the demeanor of both candidates.
Later, Dr. Bud Marr sits down in the Conversion Corner. Dr. Marr is a convert from Evangelical Protestantism. He shares his experiences growing up and the circuitous route he took to the Catholic Church. Bud is the Director of the National Institute for Newman Studies in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Afterwards, Gus about how one of the keys to Bud Marr's conversion was his relationship with Scripture. Gus asks listeners what their relationship with Scripture is like.
