Gus talks about last night's election and the fact that we don't yet know who won. Gus breaks it down and also talks about how it's a good thing that Democrats won the House and Republicans won the Senate and how it's good that one party doesn't control everything. Gus also takes relief in the fact that the riot and looting that was predicted hasn't happened and that the delay in results may have helped in that. Gus invites listeners to call in and share how they're feeling this morning.

Also, Fr. Leo Patalinghug calls in to talk the election, among other things. He reminds Gus that, regardless of who wins, God is in charge. Fr. Leo also talks about his favorite comfort foods, one of which is spinach and Gus is pretty taken aback by this. He talks about his memories of spinach are pretty traumatic in that his mom pretty much just boiled it. Feeling bad about throwing his mom under the bus, Gus calls her and brings her on the air to talk it out with Fr. Leo.
