Gus continues his tribute to National Marriage Week by inviting listeners to call and share what kind of marriage prep they went through.
Lent is only two weeks away and Gus offers listeners help in choosing their Lenten penitential act with Reading or Rosary. He invites them to call in and choose one of the two and he either sends them a copy of A Minute in the Church: Back to the Basics or a Holy Land Rosary.
Also, Gus talks about Pope Francis' Apostolic Exhortation on the Amazon Synod, which was released about two hours earlier, and some of the highlights of his text. Interestingly, the pope did not even address the issue of married priests in that area or female deacons.
