Gus talks about the Hallow app, which is a Catholic prayer app for smart phones that assists people with their daily prayer life. They have several celebrities reciting various prayers, including Jonathan Roumie and Mark Wahlberg. Recently, they brought in Irish actor Liam Neeson to voice several C.S. Lewis passages for their Advent reflections. Neeson, however, has been very vocal and proactive in his support of the legalization of abortion in his home country. Hallow has received some negative feedback over this and Gus invites listeners to call in and share their thoughts on the platform's decision.

Also, Fr. Leo Patalinghug calls in to talk with Gus about the legacy of St. Nicholas, the season of Advent and Christmas and eating too much during the holidays. He also gives us an update on his food truck.

And today is the Feast of St. Nicholas, the inspiration for Santa Claus. Gus talks a little about the fourth century bishop of Myra in Asia Minor, and how inspired the character we know today and Santa Claus. In Europe, devotion to him was considerable and he legend of kindness and secretive gift-giving spread, creating many traditions. He invites listeners to call in and share any St. Nicholas traditions they've had in their families and what is their favorite portrayal of Santa Claus.
