It seems like many choirs in parishes throughout the U.S. perform the song "Mary Did You Know," which has some controversial lines from a Catholic theological perspective. Gus plays a version by Mark Lowry it line by line, analyzes what each says and talks about it with listeners.

Also, Knights of Columbus Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly calls in to talk about his recent trip to Poland and Ukraine, where the Knights has a strong presence, to see first-hand the devastation wrought by Russia. Since the war broke out, the Knights raised $20 million in humanitarian aid for refugees and presented it to their local contingent and met with the president of Poland. He also shares some of the stories of individuals he met and spoke with whose homes had been destroyed and have nowhere to go, but how remarkably strong the faith is there.

And Gus goes over some Catholic news items of interest, including how archaeologists are preparing to open the tomb of Salome who many consider to be the Blessed Virgin Mary's midwife. Gus talks about the skepticism associated with the notion that Mary even had a midwife, which how it derives from the apocryphal Gospel of James, and how it's something he's never even heard of. He also talks about how a Detroit area crisis pregnancy centers and the home of one of its board members was vandalized with threatening pro-abortion messages.
