Roger Severino, senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, calls in to talk with Gus about a possible watershed court case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which is currently being argued before the Supreme Court. Roger talks about the nuts and bolts of the case and the possible outcomes.
Afterwards, Gus invites listeners to call in and weigh in on whether or not Roe v. Wade should be overturned.
Also, Gus talks about a recent survey among U.S. Catholic priests and one particular aspect, priest morale. According to the survey, conducted by SSRN, priest morale is low and gives many reasons why. Gus asks listeners to call in and share why they think priest morale is down.

Abortion does not undo a rape or abuse; two wrongs do not make a right. We have alternatives in adoption and resources at Crisis Pregnancy Centers. Christ expects us to also be the voice of the voiceless, to stand up for our defenseless brothers/sisters. Science can now prove aborted infants have their own blood type, DNA, and other features. You want empathy? How about mothers trying to view themselves in the position of the baby…and be burned by chemical or torn apart? Literally, the Nazis and Hitler showed no greater hatred for life. The killing of the innocent unborn is a monumental tribute to Satan. [I wanted to actually be heard over the air but not enough time got devoted to listener talk on this vital topic.]

I was listening for a short time and heard the young woman say she felt abortion was ok. Does she not realize the fetus is alive in the womb???? A human being made by God! Abortion is against the precepts of the Catholic Church.
