Gus reads a recent document issued by the USCCB's Committee on Doctrine called "Doctrinal Note on the Moral Limits to Technological Manipulation of the Human Body," which deals with transgenderism. It not only condemns the de rigueur artificial manipulation of gender but its ideological values as well. After reading it, Gus shares his thoughts on the matter.
Later, Gus is joined by Allen Sanchez, the petitioner for the Cause for Canonization of Sister Blandina Segale, a religious sister who lived in the days of the Wild West and dealt with cowboys, gunfighters like Billy the Kid and lynch mobs. Allen shares much of her story, which has been made into an independent film called "At the End of the Santa Fe Trail" and is currently being developed for a limited run TV series. Afterwards, he invites listeners to call in and share their favorites Hollywood portrayal of a religious figure.
