Gus is back from his Danube River Cruise Pilgrimage with Fr. Leo Patalinghug and he shares a few stories with his listeners and does a little bit of redux. Later, Gus shares a story about an incident that occurred while on pilgrimage, when one of his pilgrims injured herself dancing and had to go to the hospital. There, she learned she had to have surgery and is still in Germany. Gus invites listeners who've ever experienced getting sick, injured or experiencing some kind of disaster while traveling.
Also, Catholic author Megan Madden calls in to talk about her new Ascension Press book, "Mary, Teach Me to Be Your Daughter: Finding Yourself in the Blessed Mother." The books purpose is to lead the reader on an intimate journey into the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary centered around 10 principal virtues that she possessed.
And Gus talks about Ohio State's big win over Notre Dame this past Saturday and revels in it a little bit.
