Gus asks listeners if they have a favorite sports memory and invites them to call in and share it. We hear everything from Little League games to game winning high school football kicks to playing college basketball to being in attendance for Super Bowl LI where the New England Patriots came back from being 25 points to winning the game in overtime.
Afterwards, Bob Dunning calls in to talk about his most memorable sports moment and to talk about this weekend’s biggest college football games. He and Gus also discuss next weekend’s rivalry games since we won’t be live next week.
Also, Gus plays an interview from his archives with Dr. Gary Chapman, the author of the best-selling book, “The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate.” Gus says that the book, which was first published in 1992, changed his life and how he communicates with his bride, Michelle. Dr. Chapman talks about how it’s important for spouses to understand the differences between personalities and sexes and how they show love, sadness, happiness and other emotions.
