Gus talks about the USCCB's November Meetings, which are wrapping up in Baltimore and the Eucharistic Coherence document on which they voted. The document seeks to emphasize the Eucharist, how it is the true body and true blood of Jesus and the sacrament's indispensable role in the life of the Church. It does not, however, provide any guidelines for withholding the sacrament from high-profile Catholic politicians and celebrities, like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, who openly defy Church teaching. Gus asks whether or not the average Catholic is going to read this document and how it's up to us to be a good example of Eucharistic Coherence to people in our lives. He gets listener feedback.
Later, Gus continues with his examination with the Pillar's survey of Catholics on "hot button issues." The part Gus focuses on today is reasons why Catholics leave the Church. He goes over the list of reasons given in the survey and then posits the question to listeners.
And, Bob Dunning calls in to talk about this weekend's biggest matchups in college football and, since we won't be live next Thursday, Week 13's biggest matchups as well. Although not much changed in the College Football Playoff rankings, that's going to change over these next two weekends.

Thank you for sharing the information about the Eucharistic Coherence document. I would love to help our parish remember what the Eucharist truly is.
Which of your books best explains that? and what page/pages? I will purchase one to share with our pastor for permission to buy in bulk to give away during Christmas masses.
God bless you! and Thank you again!
