A couple of days ago, it was reported that Pope Francis allegedly used a gay slur in a closed-door meeting with the Italian Bishop’s Conference when discussing seminary culture. The Vatican issued a statement apologizing for the use of the Italian word “frociaggine,” which loosely translates in English to “faggotry” or “faggotness,” and said it wasn’t said pejoratively and the pope didn’t mean to offend anyone. Italian is not the pope’s first language. The discussion was about how, in some Western seminaries, there is a homosexual subculture. Gus invites the listeners to call in and react to what the pope said.
Later, Bob Dunning calls in to talk about a number of issues with Gus, including about handwriting and how he signs his name and the lottery.
