Tom Peterson calls in to talk with Gus about a new book he's co-authored called "The WillPower Advantage: Building Habits for Lasting Happiness." Tom is the founder of Catholics Come Home and talks about how this is different from most self-help books in that it's self-help through God. He refers to it as a "God-help book." Inspired by his conversation with Tom, Gus invites listeners to call in and share a personal victory they've had through the help of God.

Later, Gus talks about how today is the Feast of St. Francis Xavier, a contemporary and follower of St. Ignatius of Loyola and one of the first Jesuit missionaries. After discussing the differences between proselytizing and evangelization, Gus asks listeners to call in and share who evangelized them.

And, Bob Dunning calls in to talk about this crazy football season, which includes games cancellations and postponements, bowl cancellations and disproportionate schedules. They also talk this weekend's best games.
