Gus has a bevy of guests on the program today! First up is Fr. Leo Patalinghug, who calls in from the Holy Land and talks with Gus about a number of items, including gifts listeners can give to their priests if they feel so inclined. They also recount Fr. Leo converting Gus to brussels sprouts a few years back and Michelle joins them so they can jointly announce their 2023 Danube River cruise next September.

Later, Catholic author Anthony DeStefano calls in to talk about his latest children's book, "How Angels Got Their Wings" and he's followed up by Bob Dunning who talks with Gus about Championship Weekend. The Power 5 conference championship games begin Friday night and each team in the CFP Top 4 is involved in theirs this year. Ohio State and Alabama are at #s 5 and 6, respectively, and Bob talks about how the college football world, not to mention the College Football Playoff Committee, are hoping each top in the Top 4 wins their game so that things will remain the same.

Also, Gus has been recovering from a bout of laryngitis and had to take yesterday off. It was the Feast of St. Andrew who was one of Jesus' apostles and the brother of St. Peter. Gus has two brothers and shares a few brother stories. Afterwards, he invites listeners to call in and share their brother stories.
