It's Monday, so Gus invited listeners to call in for Tell Me Something Good and share some recent blessings they've experienced. During the segment, two separate callers talked about how, during a difficult period, a song pulled them through, and they both felt God had delivered it to them for encouragement. Also, Gus' 60 Second Reflection today is titled after the Todd Rundgren & Utopia song, "Love is the Answer," which was a hit for England Dan & John Ford Coley. Gus invites listeners to call in and share a song that they believe came to them from God in a similar fashion.
Also, Gus is joined by Heather Lawless, the founder of Reliance Ministries, a pro-life pregnancy center in Idaho. Before going in how and who they help, Heather shares a little of her story, which is centered a large part in her mother who had an abortion when Heather was very little and how that affected her throughout her life. Her mom died when Heather was in her early 20s, fully contrite on the decision she made, in part with help from her daughter, which spurred Heather to start her ministry.
Please remember that pro life is more than just abortion. Immigration, death penalty, slavery, human rights and treating individuals fairly are also pro life issues. So many people leave that part out.
