Since then, Archbishop Samuel Aquila has had a back-and-forth with another unnamed brother bishop over Eucharistic coherence and San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone has stated publicly that Catholics who support abortion should not present themselves for holy communion. Archbishop Cordileone is Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's bishop. She has been a vocal supporter of abortion for many years now and a Catholic.
