Catholic author Anthony DeStefano calls in to talk about his new book, “The Miracle Book: A Simple Guide to Asking for the Impossible” available from Sophia Institute Press. Anthony is a prolific children’s book author, but this one is for people of all ages, and he gives some practical advice for people who are praying to God for a miracle. He tells Gus that transactional prayers don’t work; that’s where the prayer states he or she will do this if God does that. There’s nothing we can give that God needs. He says the prayer must always center around the greater glory of God and how God can use this miracle to draw the people around the person who’s praying closer to him. Afterwards, Gus invites listeners who've prayed for miracles and had them answered to call in and share their stories.
Also, today is Monday so Gus invites listeners to call in for Tell Me Something Good.
