Today is the feast day of two notable saints, St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More. Both lived in England during the reign of King Henry VIII who separated the Church of England from the Church of Rome in 1532 because Pope Clement VII would not grant Henry another decree of divorce so he could marry Anne Boleyn. Fisher and More, both loyal to the pope would not sign side with Henry, which resulted in their beheadings. Gus says these two saints show us a perfect example of how to face a persecution.

And, as dioceses across the country continue to open so Gus checks in with listeners and asks how their return to mass is going and if certain restrictions have eased any. Gus also invites listeners to call in who are involved in a ministry at their church to talk about what things have been like in era of coronavirus. He asks if they've been able to be involved in any way when masses were live streamed or since physical mass has returned.

And it's Monday so that means we do an episode of Tell Me Something Good.
