Catholic author David Bonagura Jr. calls in to talk about his newest book, “100 Tough Questions for Catholics: Common Obstacles to Faith Today,” which is available from Sophia Institute Press. A few great obstacles preventing conversions and reversions to Catholicism are people not readily receiving solid, timely answers to questions about their faith and a culture that’s hostile to religion. David talks with Gus about several of the 100 hot-button questions about the supernatural life and Catholicism today and tells him that he leaves no controversial issue unaddressed. Afterwards, Gus invites listeners to call in and share what they believe are some of the toughest questions facing the Catholic Church and spiritual conversions/reversions today.
Later, Gus talks about the rapid and furious destruction in Los Angeles from the deadly wildfires. He shares some stories he’s heard of people there trying to get as much out of their home before it was completely destroyed by fire. He asks listeners what they would take if they only had one hour to gather their belongings and evacuate.
And it's Monday so Gus does an extended round of Tell Me Something Good with listeners.
