Rhonda Gruenwald, the "Vocations Lady," calls in and talks with Gus about a national campaign her organization, Vocation Ministry, initiated called "Uplift Your Priest." The campaign seeks to bolster priests across the country who are overburdened with ministering to parishioners stricken with COVID-19 and are risking their own health bringing the sacraments to them.
Gus also talks with two Catholic authors who've been on the show several times in the past and chats with them about life in the coronavirus era. First, we hear from Jon M. Sweeney who also talks about his newest books, "Margaret and the Pope Go to Assisi." Then, we hear from Mike Aquilina whose latest offering is called "The Healing Imperative."
Gus also checks in with Crux editor John Allen from Rome and also does a listener email version of Tell Me Something Good.
