Gus is joined by Deacon Mike Houghton, founder and executive director of UTG at Work. Their mission is to help Catholics share their faith in their places of work and to come up with new and innovative ways. Deacon Mike started this as a mission for the Archdiocese of Detroit a few years ago and they are now taking their initiatives nationwide. He shares with Gus how they’re planning to do that and invites listeners to check them out to see how they can get involved.
Afterwards, Gus talks about how sharing the Catholic faith in the workplace can be a dicey proposition for some in this increasingly secular culture, but there are always things we can do. He invites listeners who’ve shared their faith in the workplace to call in and talk about what that experience was like for them.
And it's Monday so Gus engages in a couple rounds of Tell Me Something Good with listeners.
