Gus reads some listener email and one in particular where a father tells Gus that, for the past couple of weeks, his son has awoken at the same time every day, 2:04 a.m. He asks Gus if there's any Biblical significance. Gus replied that the only thing he can recommend is to read the Bible. Gus asks listeners if God has ever spoken to them through numbers or if there's a particular number that has any spiritual meaning for them.

Later, Gus does Prayer Time with listeners and finishes up the Shepherd of Hermas in today's Friday with the Fathers.

    Hello!
    I have been listening to you for almost a year. I am fascinated and impressed and feel very blessed that I discovered your program and am able to listen to all the interesting and informative topics that you include. Thank you immensely for all that you do for everyone!:). You are truly a Godsend!:)
    When I was listening to your show yesterday and you were talking about the father who asked about his son waking up at 2:04 repeatedly, I wanted to jump in and share my own experience and suggestion. In 2013, I was in a bad situation and was felt unloved. I was also at the point where I was 99.9% along on my spiritual journey or so I thought. Then one day, I was the victim of a terrible car crash. My car was totaled and my life felt totaled but it was just the start of how God would show me that He loved me and how important I was to Him and that that was all that really mattered! It was miraculous that I even survived the crash. The crash happened on March 16 and the man in the car ahead of me that I had been thrust into because of the tremendous speed of the van that rear ended me while stopped at the light was named John. Hence: John 3:16!:). God can really be to the point!!! I at first thought it was a coincidence but the man at the garage where my car went was named John. The time of the accident was 12:36 and the numbers 3, 1, and 6 kept coming up everywhere although not always in the correct order! God wanted to get the message across but He wanted me to work for it so that I would really get it! I would wake up at 3:16. I would look at the clock randomly and there would be the three numbers in some order! That leads me back to your writer’s question. Do you think that 2:04 could mean 40:2 as in the Psalms! I do!
    “Surely, I wait for the Lord;
    Who bends down to me and hears my cry,”
    There might be other possibilities but this one sounds so comforting!:)
    Thanks for letting me share this with you and thanks again for all that you do!:)
    God bless you and I’ll keep praying for you!:)

    PS I’m not sure if this should be published as a comment as it meant to communicate to you and I wasn’t sure how.
