Earlier this month, the USCCB issued guidelines for determining whether a hymn is doctrinally suitable for liturgical use and several hymns that have been sung for decades have been tossed, including "Sing A New Church" and "All Are Welcome." Gus reads the news piece from Catholic News Agency and then talks with listeners about hymns they don't like or are upset that are now forbidden during mass.

Later, Bob Dunning calls in to talk more COVID college football, including the Big 10 making an allowance for Ohio State to play in the Big 10 Championship Game, the number of cancelled games this week and the best match-ups this weekend.

Also, Gus does his Friday Prayer Time with listeners and, in today's Friday with the Fathers, Gus reads St. Polycarp's Letter to the Philippians.
