Gus continues his discussion about hosting Syrian refugees. He talks with listeners about how they feel about it and whether they think we should continue giving asylum to Syrian refugees fleeing ISIS persecution, stop it altogether or find a happy medium. Gus also talks with Shaun McAfee, founder of EpicPew, about the subject. Shaun is currently in Afghanistan working with the Army Corps of Engineers on building a military academy. Check out the recent article he wrote on what the Second Vatican Council says about war and the arms race.

Gus also talks to America Magazine Senior Editor & Chief Correspondent Kevin Clarke about all the latest updates at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops November Meetings. You can read his latest summation here.
