Gus talks about the funeral he attended yesterday of a teenage girl who died suddenly while at tennis practice last week. He didn’t know her but her parents knew of Gus and invited him to be a reader at her funeral. It prompts Gus to ask listeners who’ve lost a child to call in and share their story.
Also, Gus is joined via telephone by Herald A.M.A. Janssen, director of the Ark of Noah Foundation, to talk about his organization’s full size Noah’s Ark replica that’s scheduled to set sail to Brazil this summer.
