Lots of compelling discussion today on Seize the Day. First, Gus asks his listeners if theirs is a marriage divided; that is, what role does faith play in your marriage? Are you both Catholic and do you go to mass together, or is your spouse of a different faith and spend your Sunday worship apart?

Also, in light of President Obama’s recent executive order to prohibit government contractors from what the administration deems “sexual orientation” and “gender identity” discrimination and to forbid “gender identity” discrimination in the employment of federal employees, Gus asks his listeners if they think the U.S. Catholic Church should ever be a government contractor? To read the USCCB’s response to this, click here.

And, Gus welcomes attorney Scott Bloch to the Conversion Corner. Scott is a convert from evangelical Christianity and a former appointee of the U.S. Special Counsel under former President George W. Bush. Check out Scott’s interview on the Coming Home Network by clicking here.
