Also, Gus talks about divorced Catholics. A recent article in the El Paso Times showed that a poll of Catholics in that diocese indicated a large amount of them favored communion for divorced-and-remarried Catholics. Inspired by this, Gus asks divorced listeners to call in and talk about whether or not they felt shunned or isolated by their church afterwards. Then, he speaks with Rose Sweet, a Catholic author and speaker, who ministers to divorced-and-remarried Catholics.
